Yes — when it's done correctly. We preserve the manufacturer's safety strategies such as knock control, torque limiters and temperature protection, and we work within the mechanical and thermal limits of your engine and drivetrain.
A calibration is a modification and should be declared to your insurer. We supply a before-and-after power summary you can share with them. Any powertrain warranty may be affected; we are happy to discuss your specific situation before booking.
Most Stage 1 calibrations are completed within 2–3 hours. Stage 2 and hardware-dependent maps can take longer; we'll confirm a realistic window when you book.
