Reliable software.
Built to protect your engine.
RevX calibrations are engineered to release usable performance without compromising the reliability of your vehicle. This page sets out our software standards, the safety strategies we retain, and what you can expect from us before, during and after your calibration.
How we keep it reliable.
Engineered safety first
Every calibration retains the factory safety strategies that protect your engine. Boost, ignition and torque limits are optimised within the mechanical envelope the manufacturer built in.
Original file secured
Your original ECU file is read, backed up and retained on file. A full return-to-stock restore is available at any point, at no cost, for as long as you own the vehicle.
Data-validated mapping
Maps are developed against live diagnostics and, where required, dynamometer data. We do not ship generic files — each calibration is matched to your vehicle, fuel and hardware.
What we will never do.
Remove the knock, boost, lambda or temperature protection strategies that guard your engine.
Push torque past the safe limit of your clutch, gearbox or driveline components.
Map a vehicle with underlying faults without diagnosing them first.
Ship a file that has not been validated against live data or dynamometer results.
What to expect.
Vehicle compatibility
Support covers a wide range of turbocharged, supercharged, diesel and hybrid platforms. Rare or unsupported ECUs are flagged before any work begins — you are never charged for a vehicle we cannot calibrate.
Hardware-dependent maps
Stage 2 and above assume supporting intake, exhaust or cooling upgrades. Where hardware is missing we will advise what is required before mapping, never pushing a map past safe limits.
Ongoing support
Post-calibration support covers map adjustments for sensible hardware changes and diagnostic checks on the work we have carried out. Contact us any time a concern relates to your RevX calibration.
RevX calibrations are software-only. We do not warrant physical components, third-party hardware, or failures caused by pre-existing mechanical or electrical faults. Any concern relating to a map we have written is reviewed against live data before any adjustment is made.
